Source is proud to announce a new partnership with the Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre (WAGEC), providing pro bono legal, safety, HR, company secretarial and compliance support to help WAGEC continue its vital work creating safer futures for women and children by addressing gender-based violence.

WAGEC is a not-for-profit organisation that supports women and children impacted by homelessness, domestic and family violence, helping them rebuild their lives with safety, dignity and independence. Through this new partnership, Source’s pro bono support will help strengthen the organisational foundations, risk management and governance that underpin WAGEC’s frontline services, allowing WAGEC to direct more of its own resources to the women and children who rely on it.

“We’re proud to partner with WAGEC and to put our expertise to work for a cause that matters so much to our people,” said Karthik Venkataraman, CEO, Source. “This partnership reflects our values and our ongoing commitment to creating positive social impact through the skills we have as a firm.”

Beyond pro bono services, Source staff will support WAGEC through fundraising and volunteering initiatives throughout the year, including team volunteering days, donation drives, and participation in WAGEC’s ACCESS mentoring program.

“We’re so excited to partner with Source. At WAGEC, our focus is on supporting women and children impacted by domestic and family violence, homelessness, and systemic disadvantage,” said Nicole Yade, CEO, WAGEC.

“For us to do that well, we need a strong organisation behind the services we provide.

“Source’s legal, HR and governance expertise will strengthen our foundations, helping us sustain our work and respond to growing demand.”
