Why Source exists
Source was founded in 2011 as Source Legal. The original idea was simple. Growing organisations needed access to experienced legal capability, but building an in-house legal team wasn’t always practical, affordable or necessary.
Over time, we noticed something important. The challenge was rarely legal alone. The same organisations that needed legal support were also facing HR, governance, compliance and privacy challenges. And those issues rarely sat neatly in separate boxes.
Employment issues had legal implications. Governance decisions created compliance obligations. Privacy risks affected legal, operational and reputational outcomes. Clients didn’t need more providers. They needed a better model. So we built one.
Today, Source provides fractional commercial legal, workplace legal, safety and HR, company secretarial, regulatory compliance, and privacy, data and AI governance capability through one integrated team.
