What is Account Cover Plus?

Account Cover Plus¹ is an optional insurance available to Coles Group Source^™ MasterCard^® customers.

Cover when the goods you buy are later reduced in price

No need to wait for the sales to buy the things you want – Account Cover Plus allows you to claim² the difference in price if you see identical items to those purchased on your Coles Group Source MasterCard reduced in price within 24 months of the purchase in a same store, or catalogue of the same name.

Cover when your purchases are lost, stolen or damaged

Instant protection and peace of mind – if you've ever bought something and it's been broken, lost or stolen, you know how frustrating that can be. With Account Cover Plus on your Coles Group Source MasterCard there is no need to worry because for 120 days after the purchase you will be covered² for all those events.

Cover when you're injured, unemployed or worse

Be covered for the unexpected – the last thing you need when you're unwell or you've lost your job is to be worrying about where your next card payment will come from. And, in the unfortunate event of your death you don't want your family to be left with an unwanted bill at a time of grief. Account Cover Plus on your Coles Group Source MasterCard will pay a monthly benefit² in the event of involuntary unemployment, disability or hospitalisation.

Your outstanding balance will be paid² in the event of certain critical illnesses, total permanent disability, or loss of life (up to $20,000).

Cover that's affordable

Best of all, this peace of mind is affordable – the cost is just 1% of the total monthly closing balance on your account. So if your balance is $250 all you pay is $2.50 and if you have a zero balance you pay nothing that month.
